Plymouth Church Yankee Fair, 2010

It didn't rain after all this past Saturday, so lots of kids and their grownups headed to the Plymouth Church of the Pilgrims' Yankee Fair in Brooklyn Heights.

Much of the action took place on Orange Street, right outside the church. Pony rides!

The inflatable castles were quite popular.

Kids took off their shoes before jumping in.

Wish they had one of these for the grownups.

Inside the church buildings there were all kinds of things for sale -- clothing, antiques, jewelry and books -- and chili, sandwiches and lots of baked goods for lunch. The kids enjoyed entertainers like Liam the Magician and Gina Sing, and the adults heard Will Erat belting out Broadway tunes and soprano Alexis Lum and mezzo Caitlin Burke sing beautiful opera together.

A Viking was selling raffle tickets.
